Math Teacher
I started my teaching career 27 years ago at Lamesa High School. My first 7 years were at the high school level, and included Algebra I, Geometry, & Algebra II. I’ve taught 7th and/or 8th grade math for the past 20 years. I have been teaching at Graham Junior High School since 2009. I’m excited to join the high school math department, and to get back to teaching Algebra I.
I’ve been married to Clay McChristian for 26 years. Clay is the Athletic Director and head football coach at the High School. Rylee is 20 years old and our only child. She graduated from Graham High School in 2022 as the Valedictorian. She is currently a junior at Texas A&M University, where she is working towards both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting. I have 3 cats (Smokey, Sneaks, & Harley). We feel very blessed to be a part of the Graham community.
I love spending time with my husband and daughter. We enjoy outdoor activities and vacationing to places like New York City, Washington D.C, Myrtle Beach, Lake Tahoe, and taking cruises. In my free time, I also love to read. I’m proud to be a 10 year cancer survivor & have participated in the Susan G. Komen North Texas Race for the Cure for many years. One of my favorite things to do is watching and cheering on our various sports teams.
