Amy Arnzen's Bio

Amy Arnzen is in her second year as assisnt athletic trainer in Graham ISD.  She is also an assistant volleyball coach for the Lady Blues. Ms. Arnzen is a 2020 graduate of the University of Idaho with a master’s degree in Athletic Training. She received her undergraduate degree from the Eastern Oregon University in Health and Wellness in 2018. Amy passed her Board Of Certification exam and is a nationally certified athletic trainer in addition to being licensed in the state of Texas to practice as an athletic trainer. Arnzen comes to Graham from Bridgeport ISD where she has worked since the fall of 2020. While at  Bridgeport Amy was named the head athletic trainer. The Milton-Freewater, Oregon native has an extensive background in athletics as she was a collegiate volleyball player at Eastern Oregon University and was a multi sport athlete in high school.  She also works as an athletic trainer from time to time in rodeo and has covered rodeo events nationally. In addition to her athletic training duties she will teach Sports Medicine at Graham High School. Personally she is married to Graham High School 2010 graduate Spencer Sims. Spencer is the boys coordinator at Graham Junior High and will coach football, basketball and track at GJH.
