Completed 31 years of teaching (30 in public schools). Texas Teaching Ceritifications include Mathematics (Secondary 6-12), Computer Information Systems (6-12), and Office Education (6-12).
Currently serving as the instructor for Learning Center and leading the production of the Yearbook (Graphic Design 1 & 2).
Past experience includes teaching 8th grade Multimedia, 7th grade Computer Applications, HS Algebra, HS Geometry, HS Pre-Calculus, HS Trigonometry, HS Calculus, HS Microcomputer Applications, HS Computer Science I & II, plus business and math classes at a business college. Was also a Technology Director for a school district for 10 years supporting a 1-1 student laptop program (5th -12th) including the infrastructure to support it.
Married to James Thomas for many wonderful years. We have two wonderful children, Samuel (UNT Sophomore majoring in Computer Engineering) and Chaucey (Tarleton State Univ Freshman majoring in mechanical engineering with a long-term goal of aerospace engineering).
