Adam Anderson, Principal of Graham High School

Principal's Corner

Hello Parents and Community,

It is crazy to think that we are already here at the end of the school year. It has been a busy year with a lot of growth, changes, adversity, and learning. I am glad I was able to be a part of the journey this year. We have one more busy week ahead of us before we go into the summer. Please make sure you have looked over the schedule for this week. The Google Form for exemptions will be sent out to students tomorrow morning. Students, please make sure you fill it out before 9am.

Seniors and senior parents, please make sure you look over the message I sent today regarding this last week of school. Seniors have activities every morning that they are expected to attend. They will not be kept all day unless they are finishing credit recovery classes or make up hours. Please also note that we will have a Senior Class Meeting at 8:00am tomorrow morning.

Let's have a great last week of school!

Respectfully,

Adam Anderson
Principal

What's Happening at GHS...

Medication Pickup

Parents-
The end of the year is almost here! Please make arrangements to pick up your child’s medication before the last day of school: May 21, 2026.
All medications must be picked up by a parent or guardian. Medications not picked up will be discarded. The school cannot store any medication over the summer in the nurse's office.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Jessica Groves
Nurse Aide

Need to Make Up Hours?

We will be hosting AHU (After hours university) for students that need to make up hours to receive credit for a class. The following dates and times are when we will have it:

  • May 18th: 4-7pm in the GHS Cafeteria
  • May 19th: 4-7pm in the GHS Cafeteria

Final Exam/Last Week of School Schedule

Here is the schedule for the last week of school.

There seems to be some confusion among students that they do not have to come to school this week if they are exempt from their final. This is incorrect. Students are expected to be in their classes all week until the day of their final exam. Students can lose their exemptions if they choose to miss school instead of being in class.

Facilities Planning Committee

Here is the link to GISD website where all information and the presentations and handouts from each month's meetings are posted. Feel free to look over this to see what is being discussed and share with friends and neighbors. This past week the subcommittees presented to the whole group with their recommendations. The committee voted on what they felt was most important to focus on. Next month, the committee chairs will present their recommendations to the school board at the June school board meeting.
