Hello Parents and Community,
This was a busy week for our our community. Our Steer Soccer team went to Canyon to play a tough Pampa team. Our boys played hard but we still lost 0-3. Congratulations to our Steers and all their hard work this season! Huge thank you to Coach Wankowicz for all his time and hard work this season. I look forward to more great things from our Steer Soccer program next year.
Our Lady Blues went to Burkburnett and took on the defending state champions, Canyon Randall. Our girls played hard and never gave up. They won 3-0 in penalty kicks. Congratulations ladies! They will take on Lubbock Cooper Liberty in Abilene on Tuesday. Come out and support our Lady Blues if you can!
We also hosted PK Relays this past weekend. It was great to see our athletes compete against teams throughout the region. This weekend was also Opening Day for Graham Youth Baseball and Softball. My family had a great time getting to experience it for the first time.
This next week, is another busy week as we have Advanced Academic Night, SAT Testing, Lady Blue Soccer playoffs, baseball and softball games, District One Act Play, the State Powerlifting Meet, and more.
I found out that the game, "Senior Assassin", has already started. I just want to remind our seniors that they are not to play it on school property during school hours. I am also prohibiting play at the baseball or softball fields inside the gates and fences. This is to keep our students and fans safe while at baseball and softball games and allows everyone to enjoy the game until they leave the field.
I hope to see you at one of our many events this week!
Respectfully,
Adam Anderson
