Adam Anderson, Principal of Graham High School

Principal's Corner

Hello Parents and Students,

This past week we had some great things happen. Soccer went to Bridgeport and competed against a tough opponent. Our Lady Blues were able to come with a 3-0 win! Youth Lead got to go to Fort Belknap and learn more about the history of Young County, learned about credit scores from First State Bank, and learned about how to interview. DECA went and competed at state in Fort Worth and our Bellas were celebrated for their success at their competition. Our staff had a great opportunity to collaborate and plan out the rest of the year as a team on Friday.

This week is busy! We have several home events this week from Soccer, Golf, Softball and Baseball. Additionally, we have Tennis competing in Alvarado on Tuesday and Steers basketball away this week in the first round of playoffs. They will take on San Angelo Lake View at Clyde HS at 6:30 on Tuesday evening. I hope that you will come support either our Soccer programs or Steers basketball Tuesday night. This week is National FFA Week and we will have some dress up days to celebrate!

Thank you for all you do for our campus and our community!

Respectfully,

Adam Anderson
Principal

What's Happening at GHS...

✨ You're Invited: The Glass Slipper Prom Boutique Event!

Prom season is just around the corner, and we believe every student should have the chance to celebrate this milestone without the stress of a price tag.

For the past 15 years, the Glass Slipper Project has had the honor of providing prom dresses and accessories to students in our community. Our mission is simple: to ensure that the cost of formal wear never stands in the way of a student making lifelong memories at prom.

👗 What’s New This Year?
In the past, we’ve shared our resources through school announcements. This year, we are thrilled to announce a brand-new experience! We are hosting a four-day prom dress shopping event right here in Graham.

Students are invited to browse a beautiful selection of dresses and accessories in a boutique-style setting—all at no cost.

DECA Competes at State

The GHS DECA Team went to Fort Worth this weekend with over 20,000 other students throughout the state. Even though none of our students are advancing to Nationals, we want to recognize their countless hours of practice and preparation. We are incredibly proud of them! Great job representing GHS this year!
