Hello Parents and Community,
I hope this message finds you well and that you had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving break with your loved ones. As we settle back into our routines, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude.
It is truly an honor to serve as the Principal of Graham High School. I am incredibly thankful for the dedication of our exceptional staff, the spirit and enthusiasm of our students, and the unwavering support of this community. On a personal note, I feel especially grateful to be raising my own family here. Your commitment to our school and to one another is what makes Graham a truly special place.
I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with 16 students as part of my Principal's Advisory Council right before the break. I am amazed at their insight, input, and ability to collaborate. I will continue to meet with them throughout the year to receive student input and ideas on improving our campus.
As we move toward the Christmas break, our campus is buzzing with activity, so please be sure to check the calendar of events in the newsletter. I have included all events until our return in January.
-
Athletics: Our basketball season is in full swing, and we are excited to see soccer starting up. There are many opportunities to come out and cheer on our Steers!
-
Finals Week: For our students and parents, I have attached the Finals Week calendar to this newsletter. Please review it so that you can plan accordingly.
-
Exemptions: Teachers will be receiving and sharing the exemption forms with students this week. I want to assure you that there have been no changes to the exemption policy.
As we enter this season of gratitude and giving, I encourage all of us to look for opportunities to help those around us. There are many needs within our community, especially at this time of year, and every act of kindness makes a significant difference.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to the school if you have any questions or concerns. We encourage an open dialogue and value your input.
Respectfully,
Adam Anderson
Principal
