Hello Parents and Community,

Thank you for such an amazing week! The Senior Pep Rally and Senior Night were fantastic! I loved seeing the community celebrate our senior students and recognize their accomplishments and influence on the GHS campus. Our Steers battled it out and beat Eagle Mountain in a physical defensive game. I am proud of our young men for never giving up when it was tough. We also had the opportunity to celebrate our High School Coaches on Friday. I am proud of the hard work each and every coach puts in to all of our students here at GHS, both on the field and court and in the classroom.

I am incredibly proud and grateful for you, the community. On Friday night, the Tuggle Family was presented with a check for $16,000. Heart of Graham was an incredible success due to you. Thank you for pulling together to take care of one of our own. I am amazed at what we can do when we work together.

This week, we will be celebrating our veterans on Tuesday at the GISD Veterans Day Program. More information can be found in the newsletter. I hope to see you all there as we celebrate those veterans who have served our country. Good luck to our Varsity Steers as they take on Godley on Friday night!

As a reminder, students will not have school on Friday since it is a staff Professional Learning Day.

As a reminder, we will have a fire drill in the next two weeks.

In response to student input from last year of wanting more Lockdown Drills, and at the recommendation of local law enforcement, we will be holding a second Lockdown Drill before the end of the semester. I will make sure to notify parents the week that we will be holding the drill. After the drill, we will notify parents as well so that you are aware that it occurred.
