Principal's Corner

Hello Parents and Community,

What an incredible Homecoming Week we just wrapped up! I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all of our parents, community leaders, and students for making it such a memorable success.

From the energy of the bonfire and the vibrant spirit of the parade to the creativity of the dress-up days and the enthusiasm at Friday’s pep rally, it was a truly fun week. It’s an honor to have experienced my first Graham Homecoming, and I look forward to many more.

A special thank you goes out to the Booster Club for organizing when skydivers brought in the game ball for Friday night's football game—how exciting was that!

We also celebrate our wonderful Homecoming Queen nominees. Each of them exemplified the qualities of great Graham High School students, and we thank them for their leadership. Please join me in offering congratulations to our new King and Queen, Logan Renfrow and Ellie Weatherman.

Finally, congratulations to our outstanding marching band for a job well done at the Region competition on Saturday!

Please note that we have a short week ahead of us. This is an important reminder: Friday is a district day off, and there will be no school.
On Thursday, we will be administering the TSIA2 to students who already signed up. Please ensure your student is well-rested for the test.

Thank you again for your continued support of our teachers and Graham High School. Your partnership is invaluable.

Respectfully,

Adam Anderson
Principal

What's Happening at GHS...

Cornerstone and Highridge Churches Served GHS

HUGE thank you to both Cornerstone and Highridge for providing snacks and drinks for our staff this last week. It was Homecoming, PSAT Test, and Senior photos on top of teachers' already busy schedule. This was greatly appreciated by staff during such a busy week. Both of these churches have adopted GHS and come in every month and serve our staff. We are so grateful for what they do.

RSB3 Goes to Region!

Congratulations to RSB3 for a great performance at Region on Saturday! They battled rain, lightning and weather delays and still showed up and put on a great show. They earned a 2 (Excellent) rating overall at Region and only schools that receive a rating of 1 (Superior) move on to Area Contest. We are so proud of our students and their hard work. Big Shout out to Josh Kidd and his staff for all their hard work this year.

Homecoming!

Thank you for an amazing Homecoming Week! Our Homecoming Court Queen Nominees were Kaden Atwood, Mia Hunter, and Ellie Weatherman. Congratulations to Ellie Weatherman and Logan Renfrow for being voted Homecoming Queen and King!

Heart of Graham

Please see the attached flyer and consider supporting Heart of Graham. This year's recipient is the Tuggle Family. Mrs. Tracey Tuggle battled cancer for the last 8 years.

Signing Out Students

Please remember that only people on your student's emergency contact list are able to sign out your student. If they are not listed in Skyward, then we can not release your child to them. Please remind students that they are not able to sign themselves out. I am looking at improving part of our sign-out process based on feedback from parents and front office staff.

Senior Parents!

Senior Parents-

The National Honor Society is hosting the senior pep rally. We would like to invite anyone who wants to participate in a Baby Face line to order a bobble head picture on a stick.
