Principal's Corner

Hello Parents and Community,

I am writing to you today with a few important reminders and a note of sincere thanks.

Please be reminded that Friday, October 10th, will be a student holiday. Our teachers and staff will be engaged in a dedicated professional learning day. Providing our educators with a differentiated professional development allows us to maximize instruction in the classroom utilizing guaranteed and viable curriculum. This ongoing training is critical to our commitment to excellence.

This week also marks the end of the nine-week grading period. Please encourage your student to finish strong and ensure all assignments are submitted as we prepare for the grade finalization process.

Finally, thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in our recent Parent-Teacher Conferences. Your engagement is invaluable. We believe in fostering relationships to ensure collaboration among students, staff, and community, and your presence at these conferences truly helps us cultivate an inclusive environment to motivate and facilitate parent partnerships. We deeply appreciate your role as partners in the learning process.

I am grateful and humbled to be here in Graham ISD and am grateful for you support.

Respectfully,

Adam Anderson
Principal, Graham High School

Yearbook Senior Ads

Dear Senior Parents:

We know you are so proud of your teen’s accomplishments. Tell them how great they are by purchasing a senior ad in the Graham High School yearbook.

Ads are available in a variety of sizes and prices that range in size from 1/4 page to a full page. This tribute might include pictures, a good luck message, congratulatory remark, etc. You may want to refer to a previous yearbook for an idea of what others have done. All ads must be received no later than January 6th, 2026.

Thanks for helping support the GHS yearbook staff, and don’t hesitate to call or e-mail mckenzie.shook@grahamisd.com if you have questions. The yearbook is scheduled to be delivered at the end of May.

Please see the attached Google Doc for additional information.

Youth Lead

I had the opportunity to take a group of our juniors and seniors to tour Air Tractor and Southern Bleacher on Friday, October 3rd. Our students talked about leadership skills and wrote and presented 90 second speeches about something important to them. We are grateful to both of these companies to open their doors and give our students tours.
