GHS Process Updates for the 25-26 School Year
Dear Graham High School Parents and Guardians-
I hope you are having a great summer. We are excited to start the new school year. I know you have seen on our Graham ISD Back to School Website that we will not be charging a laptop usage fee or a parking fee this year.
I am contacting you today to inform you about three new updated processes we are implementing at Graham High School for the 2025-2026 school year.
Updated Process #1: Schedule Changes
As you know, the beginning of a new school year can present unique challenges, both for students and teachers. In order to best support each student’s educational experience, we have created a streamlined procedure for schedule changes that balances the needs of students with the operational constraints of our campus. The process is attached below for you to review. They will also be available during Laptop Pickup on Friday, August 8th, Freshman Laptop Pickup on Monday, August 11th, and Make-up Laptop Pickup on Tuesday, August 12th.
Updated Process #2: Possible Senior Release Period (off-period)
The second process we are implementing is to allow seniors, who meet the criteria, to choose to have a release period during either 1st or 8th period. The requirements and application is attached below. We will have copies of the applications available during Laptop Pickup on Friday, August 8th and Make-up Laptop Pickup on Tuesday, August 12th. Applications need to be returned to counselors ASAP so that they can schedule accordingly.
Updated Process #3: Receiving Parking StickerThe third process we are implementing is making it easier for students to receive their parking sticker to park on campus. Students need to fill out this Google Form prior to receiving their sticker. When students come to pick up their parking sticker, they will also need to show their driver's license. Students will be able to pick up their parking sticker, at no cost, during laptop pickup.
Thank you so much for your support. Please feel free to reach out to your counselor or me should you have any questions.
Committed to Excellence,
Adam Anderson
