Facilities and Services at Graham High School for Athletic Contests

I would like to take a moment and outline the facilities and services that will be available to visiting schools and athletic trainers here at Graham High School.  This is my fifth year here at Graham ISD and hopefully I will be able to get you what you feel that you need when your teams come here to compete.

There are two athletic training rooms is located on the high school campus. One is in the main high school building next to the gym and the other is in the fieldhouse next to the stadium. If you notify me in advance I  can make it available for your use before and after each contest that is held at the high school and also by appointment.  Most of our sports compete at on campus facilities although baseball and softball do not.  Every attempt will be made to provide athletic training coverage for those events, however at times logistically we can’t cover everything due to simultaneous events.  Our local coverage policy dictates that we cover varsity events first so consequently some sub-varsity events we are strictly on call.

We can put water and ice out for any home event.  For all sports except varsity football will will do this without anyone having to ask.  If you would like it for a varsity football game we can do that if you request it.  We only ask that you send a medical kit and water bottles.  We do not provide cups for any sport.

There will be an ambulance at all home varsity football games.  On sub-varsity football game nights the ambulance will be on call should the need arise to utilize one. We have physicians that will be in attendance at our events when their schedule allows.  If they are not in attendance they can be reached in case of an emergency
